As the Crowdtap community continues to grow and thrive, we’re writing to let you know that we’ll be updating our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service soon. The updates are focused on helping you better understand our practices, so you can use our platforms in an informed way.

The changes will take effect on September 15, 2022. We encourage you to read the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, but here are the highlights of what’s changing:

  • Provided clarity on the types of data we may collect, including sensitive information (such as video recordings that you submit) and location-related data. Additionally clarified when, how, and why we may use it to improve the Crowdtap experience.

  • Explained how we may de-identify, aggregate, or anonymize some of your information in order to store and use less information connected to individual users

  • Provided clarity about your privacy rights and how you can control what personal information we use

  • Added language to section 4.5 of our terms of service explaining our rights to your content
