Per our Terms of Service, points expire on a yearly basis on the last day of the month in which they were earned from the previous year. For example; points earned in January of 2021 will expire on January 31st of 2022. To avoid losing your points, please redeem them on a regular basis and check your Crowdtap emails for alerts on upcoming points expiring. Expired points will not be returned so please use them or lose them.
For best practices:
- Answer surveys on a regular basis. This ensures that you will always be close to cashing out if you notice you have points expiring at the end of the month.
- Check your Crowdtap emails. We alert our members ahead of time so that you can redeem accordingly.
- Stockpile gift cards instead of points. Unlike points, gift cards never expire so feel free to save gift cards for special occasions to avoid risking your points.
- Do not wait until the deadline to redeem. Due to our large member base, the 8:00 PM EDT given is approximate and your points may be removed a few minutes before then. Please redeem your expiring points as early as possible.
