Why Do I Have To Verify My Account By Providing Personal Information?

     At Crowdtap we pride ourselves on being honest and rewarding our loyal members with awesome rewards for their feedback and we just ask that you are honest with us as well! In order to protect the integrity of the Crowdtap community and ensure all gift cards are earned fairly, we match the personal information you provide with public records to confirm your identity. 

    We ask every member to submit a verification request once they have received enough points on our platform. We like to give members some time to get a feel for our platform before we ask you to verify your account information. To do this, you will be asked to provide data about yourself, such as name, address, and date of birth. If you would like to complete your profile information to earn some extra points, you can but this is not mandatory for verification.

     We use a trusted third-party application to verify our member's information. If your verification is denied by our third party please Contact Support. We will then manually run the information you provide against public records to verify you are who you say you are.

     We understand that your personal information is very important to you and we can ensure that this information is safe with us. To be transparent with our members, we would like to address some concerns regarding verifications:

  • We will not use your phone number to call you 
  • We do not send anything to your address unless you apply for a sampling opportunity, in which we will send you free samples! 
  • You will not get any emails or other promotional ads unless you subscribe to our emails, which keep you updated on samplings and sweepstakes, no unwanted emails!
  • You will receive gift cards via the email that you sign up with.
  • We do not share your data for any reasons other than outlined in our Crowdtap Privacy Policy
