Why isn’t my Facebook account verified with Crowdtap?

If you are having issues validating your account to receive rewards, there may be a few ways it can be fixed depending on the error that you get.

If you get the error below two messages when connecting your Facebook, please reach out to our Support Team to get it resolved:




If you do not see an error or just a blank page, you might be able to fix the issue yourself! Please follow the steps below:
 
  • Head over to your Facebook settings and make sure that your Primary Contact is set to an email address that has been verified. If you have a phone number in place, you would need to change it to an email address in order to connect.
 
  • If the previous step didn't help and you no longer have access to the email address that was used to create your Facebook account, we suggest updating the email address to your current one.  This can be done by adding a secondary email address and then changing it as your primary.  As of 02/09/2018 this does required access to your old email address!
